This is a post to see if I still have any readers if I continue to blog. My writing has slowed right down and I have not been a very loyal reader of your wonderful blogs in the last few months.
Actually I have to admit I have read a few blogs and haven't commented, I'm not sure why but I always think I will get back later, but I never do. Sorry!
I feel a little disconnected with my fellow homeschooling pals/bloggers and I REALLY want to connect with you all again.
I need to clean up who I'm following, I do have a lot of blogs on my list whom I have tried to connect with but never respond to me and I have decided to clean up camp.
Those of you who have faithfully come here to read my test post, (even when I haven't been to you for a while) could you please tell me what you would like me to write about.
What interests you the most in my world? Is it my homeschooling, my walk with Jesus, my cooking, my family and how one of brothers has just rededicated his life to Jesus (4 days ago)?
I want to grow as a better blogger this year, I want to get to know you better.
I have finished our book order for Ambleside online year 3 for this year, and I have added a few more things for very good reasons, and I would love to share if your interested in my reason for choice.
The home schooling passion has begun to stir in my soul and spirit and I just thank my Lord Jesus for refreshing me and giving me the desire to educate my children.
How are you all going? Have you started school yet or are you still on holidays like us? Have you begun your book order?
It is an exciting time.
This afternoon I will be putting in my stationary order with my local newsagency to put in showbags for my children to hand out on our first day of school and I will be watching Lleyton Hewitt play in the final of Kooyong today. I'm a bit of a Tennis fan!
Have a great weekend!
P.S I so desire to get around again to every ones blogs, we have had family staying with us since the 18th of December and we have been flat chat with our B&B, I will talk to you soon. :)
Hello there, Sarah! I still morey for new posts most days but don't comment so often. A few of the blogs I used to read have stopped visiting me and I guess you eventually lose interest without any response. Most posts interest me even trivial but with only high schoolers left I admit I don't read much in theway of Primary curriculum. All our books are ordered for the start... probably 29/30 depending on other family doings.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you back! X
*morey*??? Check for new posts:-)
DeleteRuby, I have one thing to say to you... YOU ARE AWESOME!! :) Thank you for coming by, I love hearing from you. xxx
DeletePlease, keep writing, I am still here. I also have read your blog and not commented many times, but I do love when you post, and if you say hi I always come and see how your life is going.
ReplyDeleteEsther Averill, yes, they are lovely books, I am sure the library has them to get a feel for them. Now when you are hunting for books, it is another name to be on the look for.
Hugs,
Silvia, thank you for coming by, you are beautiful! xxx
DeleteI just saw you post in my reader but I had seen it before because I came after you commented thinking, didn't I have Sarah's blog in my reader? I have not read anything from her in a while.
ReplyDeleteAll to tell you once more, YES, keep blogging.
Sarah
ReplyDeleteI recently found your blog when you left a comment on Jeanne (peaceful Day's) blog. You caught my interest so I followed on over, actually that's how I found Ruby's blog (hi Ruby:) Gee what attracted me, I liked your writing style, the fact that you were a CMer and best of all Aussie! not to say I don't love my o/s friends in fact I have more o/s blogs in my reader than Australian ones.
So what posts interest me? well I always enjoy 'slice of life' posts, a mixture as you've listed above.
Hi Erin, it means a lot to me that you have dropped by, you are a wonderful encouragement, thank you so much! xxx
DeleteContinue blogging! I am interested in blogs where women, worldwide, open and honest are writing about the ups and downs of life. Their feelings and belief in God despite brokenness. Now I put you in My blogroll so I see each new post.
ReplyDeleteThank you for dropping by, I am very appreciative! :)
DeleteMorning Sarah :-)
ReplyDeleteYou write it I'll read it.
We are officially starting back with our formal studies in the first week of Feb this year. A late start but we are so enjoying these quieter days and getting to the beach lots we don't want it to end. :-) xo
Good morning Amy, great to hear from you. Sounds like a lovely holidays, we have been doing much the same, lot's of lazy days at the beach. x :)
DeleteI like anything you write about because...I like you! :) You have a way of seeing things through the eyes of faith and optimism that encourage me. You love your hubby and your kids, you live in a beautiful country I can only visit through blogs, so let the Lord speak to you! He'll guide you on what to write about. Several of us have started a small club to encourage our blogging and the ministry that goes along with that. If you would like to join us, give me a quick note and I will explain more. mommamindy@msn.com
ReplyDeleteLove the new look of your blog! I'm starting a series of blogging tips and tools and moved both of my blogs to Wordpress, so I've gone through a lot of blogging changes, too.
Enjoying the challenge to keep learning and growing because, ya' know, I'm old enough to say, "We didn't have computers when I was in school." Ouch. I just admitted that. Looking forward to seeing how the Lord leads your writing!
Thank you Mindy! Your awesome, and I have told you that already. You are such an encouragement and inspiration to me. xxx
DeleteI always read everything you write too, only sometimes I'm late to the party. I'm interested in anything you have to say, but I love curriculum posts best because your kids are about the same age as Jemimah and I always get inspired to do and try new things. Thanks for posting. I miss you when you don't.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jeanne, I will be posting up my schedule for AO3 soon, even though you already know what it will look like...lol! Your awesome!
DeleteHi Sarah, it's Suzi from Melbourne. (gymnastics in Williamstown Suzi). Even though I'm not a homeschooling mum, I love to read your posts. I just love your positive out look and your Godly perspective. You are one of the people in my life who inspires me to do better...and even though our time shared was so short, the impact you made on my life was so great. I thank you for that.
ReplyDeleteSo much has happened in my life since you left Williamstown. So many changes....but all good and positive. How is everything going with you? Saw a picture of you on FB. You look terrific. But then again, you always did. Lots of love to you and the family from me and Bonham. xxx
Hey Suzi, I am so excited that you have come by here and left a comment, it is very cool! Thank you for your encouragement, I miss our one hour chats during gymnastics, they were certainly divine times. God is so good and I would love to hear about the changes that have happened in your life some time. xxx
DeleteHi Sarah! Sorry I didn't get to read blogs while I was away so just catching up:) I love everything you write about:) I'm so glad we connected on fb too recently. Keep writing and as others said I also love your positive and enthusiastic spirit :)
