Blossoming friendships

Vincent Van Gogh ~ Branches with Almond blossom

“Let us be grateful to people who make us happy, they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom." ~ Marcel Proust

Last night I met a couple that made me feel what the above quote expresses. I had never met or spoken to this lady and we talked for two and a half hours and it only felt like half an hour. We were laughing, ( I was crying because I was laughing so hard) and I haven't laughed like that for a while.

I LOVE being in the company of people where conversation flows so easily, no one judging but sweet talk because we are brothers and sisters in Christ.

I met a kindred spirit last night and today I feel so blessed as I know that people like that do not come along very often.

p.s Vincents blossom painting is one of my absolute favourites, I would love to hang one on my wall...maybe one day, you just never know!

  2. Isn't that the best! So happy for you - I can just imagine you laughing like that too. When my hubby gets together with his 5 siblings they all go wild and laugh until they cry!
Love the Van Gogh painting too, the colours are beautiful. xx

  7. I love those moments of hert to heart connection. They don't happen all the time so they're pretty special when they do.

Bless you! As I'm sure you blessed your new friend.

  8. What a lovely thing to read, Sarah. That's how you make me feel when we meet, you know. Can't wait until we see each other again. In the mean time you brighten my day online!
