Wow, I just realised that it's been over two and a half months since I actually posted something here, on my blog and I will be really surprised if anyone will actually come and read my blog.
I suppose we all go through seasons of losing our writing blog mojo, due to lots and lots of reasons.
So, what are my reasons? Let me think...
Firstly I injured my lower back, which put me out of action for 6 weeks, and three of those weeks I could hardly move off the bed. It was good though for the time was used diligently for some things the Lord has my husband and I doing.
I have just started exercising again.
We finished Ambleside year 3 term 2 and we have just had a 1 week break before we commence term 3 next week. I feel really refreshed to commence on Monday.
I've began one of my dreams and that is quilting through knitting and crocheting, I just love the colours and design, it's so fun. I take photos and show them for next post.
Forgive me for this post being quite uninspiring, but I am in Friday afternoon mode and ready to go and knit.
How are you folks?
If you have dropped by, please comment!
I promise I'll write a sparky post soon.
Sometimes we forget to write by other pursuits :-) I hope your back is not something bad?
ReplyDeleteThank you, my back is much better. Thanks for coming by. :)
DeleteI'm still here. It is so nice to hear what you've been up to. Saddened to hear about our back.
ReplyDeleteYou are faithful Jeanne! The back incident was really my own fault, I shouldn't have picked up a very heavy box. Anyhow much better now. :)
DeleteI'm still here to! But also with a sore back. I think my grand babies are getting too heavy for me to throw around and play without me doing some core strengthening work. Lol
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing pictures of your quilt!
YAY...that your here. Thanks for coming by, you are faithful. I have enjoyed some photos from your daughter on facebook...very cute!
DeleteI'm here! I'm here! It is lovely to read here again but not so good that you have been out of action. I dream about writing some wonderful insightful posts one day.....it just isn't happening at the moment.
ReplyDeleteSusan, I had to stop picking the children up too. My back just can't handle it. They still charge at me in an alarming way and I get the full impact in hugs. I hope the day never comes when they can't do that!
Yes, I will look forward to seeing the quilt pics as well. Have a great week, Sarah. Is the weather there as glorious as it is here? Definitely beach weather!
Hey Ruby, I'm honoured that you have come by. I am so touched by you faithful ladies, your all the bomb!!! :)
DeleteOh Ruby, it makes me feel so old! I might start some core strengthening exercises in an effort to improve. Just need to remember to go about it slowly.
DeleteThe weather here in SA is gorgeous at the moment too!
I'm sad to hear about your back and know how crippling it can be. I do hope you are getting better and stronger.
ReplyDeleteMay the coming week be good for you and yours.
Blessings.
