Spring would come close to being my favourite season, with new buds in the garden, sweet balmy weather and an end to the wintry months.
This year I am so excited to be heading into Spring, and moving on from winter, not only in the weather but in my heart also.
I didn't realise how emotional it makes you to put your house/B&B on the market. It's not that I am attached to the building, but more the memories of what has taken place, the joy, sweat, tears, pain, and sacrifices that come when you step out and follow a dream.
I know that this blog is 'supposed' to be a homeschooling blog but really it's more like my open journal where I can just write what is on my heart. So thank you for reading if your here!
We know and believe that it's time to move forward that a new season is approaching in our lives and we are totally surrendered to the Lord and just wholly trusting Him each and every moment.
I am so glad that our lives are truly in His wonderful hands, and that we don't have to worry about tomorrow and what it brings for we really can only live today under God's amazing grace and walk as He leads.
Beautiful thoughts Sarah. The new header at the top is a great reflection of all that is fresh and new. May the Lord direct your paths so that all works out well with the sale and your new ventures. xo
ReplyDeleteThank you Ruby, your encouragement means so much. xxx
DeleteSarah, I know it's been a tough season but so glad to hear the 'spring' in your 'voice' too:) love the new header! May He continue to lead you through into this new season and may it bring fresh life, vigour, joy, newness to you and your family. He is faithful!
ReplyDeleteRosemary I cannot thank you enough for your prayers and encouragement over the last couple of tough months. I know that prayer has carried us through and I'm beginning to physically have a spring in my step. God is so faithful and I love the way He loves us. xxx
Deleteawww...you're most welcome:) hugs. xo
DeleteHere in Seattle, we're hanging onto the last days of summer, spending as much time outside before fall comes. Even though I don't share your seasons right now, I share your love for spring. For us it means an end to the rainy, gray gloom.
ReplyDeleteMay your new path be one with many high places.
