Spilling a few beans!

Hi there folks!

Just quickly dropping in to say HI! If you have very kindly dropped by my space to read this, I would like to let you know that I am very soon planning a blog voyage to catch up on your journey.

It's just been very busy around here, my darling husband waved goodbye again to work away for a little while and it takes me a few days to get into the routine of running the whole B&B show on my own and teach my children and... so on!

With all the turmoil happening on this earth around us, our daily routine is so much more emotional.

As we are still praying for our flood affected communities here in Australia, our prayers and thoughts are directed towards our fellow New Zealenders also now.

It's just so burdening and we certainly cannot carry this heart ache on our own and I just praise the God of heaven and earth that we can come to Him no matter what the circumstance and just trust Him even though we cannot understand.

I understand the signs of the times but I am sure Jesus is weeping in the midst of this turmoil, as you and I are.

We have had turmoil in our very own neighbourhood and that has been very difficult to deal with, we have been majorly persecuted and sometimes I just struggle to let it all roll off my back, especially when it's been happening for years.

Then again I am reminded that the world will hate me because of Jesus and these people just hate the love and how we have reached out to them.

Then I go to Jesus questioning His reasons for keeping us here in the community and then He gently whispers in His time all things work together for good, then I listen to a song like this...

...and my heart, soul and mind is wholly surrendered.

Hallelujah Jesus, is all I want to say.

Why?

Because He sure knows what He is doing.

He surely is the Alpha and Omega,

He surely is coming again soon,

and no matter what, I love to say His name,

I am comforted by His name,

and I will continue to worship my Jesus,

even when I don't know, when I don't understand,

when I can't see or hear.

My life is in His hands.

  2. Sarah, I am sorry to hear that you have persecution. The disasters and turmoil around us are a timely reminder how little we are asked to suffer, in reality.
May the Lord continue to uplift and uphold you and your family, especially while your husband is away from home. xo

  4. It seems that saints are suffering all around the world. I will pray for you all, still, and we all will continue to look UP during our trials and not DOWN. Thanks for the encouragement, sister.

  7. Persecution can be so difficult at times - especially when it becomes personal. The enemy loves to cause division and problems in our lives. It's like we're in a boat and the enemy's motives are to tip that boat over using whatever tactics/people possible. Perhaps the boat is leaning, and sometimes feels unstable, but hold on to God because He is the sails. He is in control of that boat - keeping it afloat.

Love you all dearly. Praying for you and you're in my thoughts daily!

    Romans 8:31-39
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:

    “For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”[j]

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  8. It has been very sad times laterly with floods, cyclones, fires, earthquakes and the terrible unrest in the middle east. The world is certainly in tumoil and it is very sad. But I praise the Lord each day that I have His word to lean on and I know I am not alone. And that makes me want to sing for joy. It doesn't matter in the end, one day we will see the Lord and all our worries and stresses will go away-FOREVER.
