Happy 10th birthday son

At 6:03am TEN years ago, after an emergency C-section my very audacious (extremely original; without restriction to prior ideas; highly inventive), inventive, caring and loving son Joshua was born!

Children are truly a gift from above.

Today we are at a small NSW outback community 80km from the border of Queensland called Lightning Ridge.

We have been coming here for our annual holiday for the last three years and we continue to love it and the children make a lot of friends with people of all ages.

So today what was going to be just us to celebrate Joshua's 10th birthday, has
turned into HUGE BBQ pool party
at the local aquatic centre with around 25 people coming. We have just come to be friends with these people from hanging down at the Artesian Basin hot baths and swimming all day at the pools.

Talk about a huge social event.

Who said children 'only' learn social skills from there peers at school?

Ha, what a joke!!

Happy 10th birthday Joshua

and happy belated birthday to your wonderful son! I find it amazing how a mother never forgets the 'birth experience' of each child no matter how many she has!
