Welcome to my open journal, where I share a little insight into our days of Home Schooling.
Thank you for this post, Sarah. I had not heard this song before. I needed the reminder to worship while I wait. Great lyrics. Great song.
It is amazing how many times in scripture we are told, "Wait, wait I say upon the Lord" or "I waited for the Lord and he answered me". It is indeed good to wait upon him and to redeem our time wisely as we wait for all our earthly things.Great thoughts to begin a new week. Have a good one Sarah!
Oh Sarah,I *love* this song too! First heard it while watching Fireproof... and it is great. My nearly 19yodd also loves it and we play it regularly here in our home.
It is good to wait upon our Lord, as we are told in Isaiah 40`31 But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run & not be weary, they shall walk & not faint.Jude 20 But you beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.God has given us both the way & the means to be overcomers in this life..amen?God bless you Sarah as you worship our Lord!
Oh girl you are so very right!! We are waiting upon Him and I love this song. My mom bought us Love Dare last year and we still haven't opened the book nor seen this movie. I'm hopping over to Amazon after this to see if I can purchase it. Thanks for the little nudge and for spreading God's love and word.Cheers.
I just purchased the fireproof dvd, so I can't watch the youtube clip. Don't want to ruin the movie! But I love the lyrics. I really need to work on my waiting!! xo
Thanks Sarah... this is a great reminder that all things work together for good for those who love Him. God's timing is always perfect.Blessings Bronny
Hey my beautiful friend, I hope all is well with you. Miss you lots!Love this song too - don't know why I didn't comment earlier!
Hey, check out my blog -- I just gave you an award! Have a great week!
Thank you so much for the lovely comments you left on my blog! How neat to meet someone from Australia here in this crazy blog world! I'm not sure which I'm more jealous of...the fact that you run a B&B or the fact that you live on the same continent as Darlene and Brooke! ;-) I am a worship leader so I use their amazing work a lot. I also have a Maggie...how cool! So glad to meet you and looking forward to getting to know you better. :-)
Sarah, I too have felt a connection with you. Thank you for your sincere and kind comments. I am always excited to read when I see a comment from you! I haven't blogged long, but I have so loved getting to know people I've never met. You are a blessing in my life!
