Do you Hear what I hear? Carrie Underwood

"This song was written in 1962 during the Cuban Missile Crisis as a powerful plea for peace by a man who had experienced the horrors of war.

The song’s message of peace is as desperately needed today as it was then."

Do you see what I see is one of my favourite carols and I love this version sung by Carrie Underwood who happens to be one of my favourite country singers. If you have 4 minutes to spare, you'll be enriched by this version of the song!

  1. Hi Sarah,
This is absolutely beautiful, and what's scary is that my husband remembers it. He built the kennels for the dinosaurs. lol

    Have a great week,
    Blessings,
    Jillian

  2. Hi Sarah,

I love this song as well. We have a version sung by Michael W Smith, I think.

It always creates some more depth to the song, when you discover a little of its history, and the events that surrounded it when the song was created. Thanks.
